Statement of Faith

At Stay Here, we believe every life is sacred, created in the image of God, and worthy of love, dignity, and protection—from the first heartbeat to the final breath and beyond. Our hope is in Jesus Christ, who came to bring life, healing, and redemption to all who are hurting. Everything we do flows from the historic Christian faith, expressed in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.

1. God

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. He is loving, just, and near to the brokenhearted.
(Genesis 1:1; Psalm 34:18; Deuteronomy 6:4)

2. Jesus Christ

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God—fully God and fully man—who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, rose again on the third day, and ascended into heaven. He is the only way to eternal life and will come again to make all things new.
(John 1:1–14; Luke 1:30–35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; John 14:6)

3. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. The Spirit dwells in every believer, bringing comfort, conviction, and power to live a life of love, holiness, and truth.
(John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23)

4. The Bible

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired and authoritative Word of God, revealing His character, His plan of salvation, and His guidance for daily life.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105)

5. Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. By His death and resurrection, He conquered sin and death, offering forgiveness, new life, and reconciliation with God to all who believe.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10)

6. The Sanctity of Life

We believe every human being—born or unborn, young or old, healthy or suffering—bears the image of God and possesses inestimable worth. Therefore, we stand for life, defend the vulnerable, and bring hope to those battling despair, reminding them that their story is not over and their life still matters.
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13–16; Jeremiah 1:5)

7. The Church

We believe in one holy, global Church—the body of Christ—called to love God and love people. We partner with churches, schools, and communities to bring light into darkness and to remind the world that there is always a reason to stay.
(Matthew 5:14–16; Ephesians 4:4–6)

8. Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of the body and life everlasting for all who trust in Christ. One day, He will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more death, sorrow, or pain—only the joy of His presence forever.
(John 11:25–26; Revelation 21:3–4)

Our Commitment

Because God is the Author of life, we are devoted to protecting it, cherishing it, and proclaiming hope to those who feel hopeless. We believe love saves lives, truth sets people free, and Jesus Christ is still in the business of resurrection—turning despair into purpose and darkness into light.
